Iraqi Media Activists Arrested in Saudi Arabia/ Using the Hajj pilgrimage for settlement with the opponents
Iraqi media activist and analyst Ali Fahim referring to the arrest of two Iraqi citizens in Saudi Arabia during the Hajj pilgrimage said that these people are from the media activists in the social media.
According to Negaheno report Ali Fahim said: “Many of the social networks speak of Saudi authorities arresting Walid Al-Sharifi and Emad Al-Mosafir. Saudi Arabia has misused the Hajj pilgrimage for arresting to settle with those who make nuisance for Saudi Arabia and oppose its policies and disclose Riyad political and conspiracy stances.
Emad Al-Mosafir is an Iraqi political expert and Walid Al-Sharifi who is a media activist and member of the Hashd Shaabi travelled to Saudi Arabia 5 days ago for the Hajj pilgrimage.
According to Negaheno news sources Emad AlMosafir is arrested for some past activities in the social media by the Saudi security forces and there is no further information about him. This has intensified regional and global media criticism.
