King of Submission/ From Behind the Stage of Tying to Improve the Image of Saddam to Reauthorizing the Ba’ath Party

One of the most important events of last week in the political and media atmosphere of Iraq which some political streams even preferred to pass by was the Jordan’s attempt to reauthorize the Iraqi Ba’ath party.
According to Negaheno report while the media and political groups in Iraq demanded strong reaction to Jordan from their government but interestingly, a few days ago Abdul Latif Rashid, the Iraqi president travelled to Amman to take part in the lavish wedding ceremony of the crown prince of Jordan and this itself was highly criticized by some of the media and political streams in Iraq.
Besides Jordan’s recent attempt what is most astonishing in the past few months is the work of some of the Arab media and even U-Tube which try to improve the image of Saddam, both of which can be translated in the same line.
The growing and costly trend for beautifying the image of Saddam in media networks besides the speeches of Mohammad al-Halbousi, Speaker of Iraqi parliament regarding the return of Raghad, daughter of Saddam and the silence of political streams of the Sunni groups leaves no doubt that some of the political streams in Iraq who failed in the political process are now pursuing to win the token of Ba’ath party in order to change the game in Iraq’s political set up.
Of course, one should not ignore the role of the US that is constantly trying to destabilize the political situation in Iraq through ISIS, terrorism and the Ba’ath party in particular, when the Iraqi prime minister, Mohammad al-Shiah al-Sudani has taken effective steps for establishing security, stability and is paving the way for Iraq’s development.
