?How Will Be Iran’s Reaction and in What Levels
Mahdi Azizi: The question raised among the world public opinion is that will Iran respond to Israel’s assassination of Ismail Hanyeh, commander and late chief of political office of Hamas and if the answer is positive how will the reaction be and in what levels?
Earlier on, Iran has already reacted to the attacks conducted by the Zionist regime against the Iranian consulate in Damascus but it was solely a political message for Israel that Tehran can target Israel’s security depth anytime it wishes.
In fact, in its previous reaction and missile attack and dispatch of its drones Iran had no intention to punish Israeli army nor to incur damage, though Israel did suffer damages in those attacks.
Iran intended merely to show its security power and intelligence prowess to Israel, one deterring military message but at a low level. But this time will Iran’s reaction be in the same previous level in targeting the same geographical locations and in a direct position from Iran? The answer is no.
Based on authentic data Tehran’s reaction will be from several fronts and at several powerful levels and much more painful than before and so it is expected that all the embassies, Israeli figures and military targets in the occupied lands would be legally targeted by Iran.
The key point is that Iran has already announced that the civilians will not be part of the targets.
Iran also will launch coordinated attacks from several other fronts in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon with the Islamic resistance groups against specific targets in the occupied lands and the point here to stress is that the West Bank and Gaza will join this attack. In any case any attempt undertaken by Tehran will possess both international and legal justification, for Israel has stepped on Iran’s integrity by assassinating a political figure with a diplomatic passport who frequently visited our country.
