Negaheno special :
Gains of Pezeshkian’s Visit to Qatar /Success of the Public Diplomacy
Iran President’s Visit to Doha One Day after the Military Operation Against Israel emphasizing on its Position as Well as Making Regional Countries to Support These Positions is a Diplomatic Achievement which Iran Has Gained After its Victory in the Battlefield.
According to Negaheno report at the general summit of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) as one of the key institutions of this continent while referring to the point that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always paid attention towards Asia the president said that today Asia has a high status in the world trade network.
The ACD was however not the only tribune for Iran and Tehran achieved three goals at three different meetings. The participation of Iran’s ministry of foreign affairs, Seyed Abbas Araghchi at the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council meeting was highly paramount in spite of certain tensions in the relations between some of the countries with Iran and even between themselves; this is even more important when at the peak of clashes with the Zionist regime, Iran continues its interactions with the regional and neighboring countries even closer than before.
At the side programs of the ACD the Saudi Arabia minster of foreign affairs met with Iran’s president. On the side programs of the summit while conveying warm greetings to Pezeshkian from the Crown Prince bin Salman and stressing on the determination of this country for developing ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran he said that we intend to close the pages of disputes between the two countries for good and work to develop our relations between the two brother countries and solve out our problems.
Bin Farhan’s implication for closing all tensions and announcing it so officially at the midst of a regional crisis that is caused by the Zionist regime conveys an important message both for Tel Aviv and the West. A message that reiterates Saudi Arabia and the regional countries do not want to be a victim of Israel’s ambitions and the US greed and this is what exactly Tehran seeks for.
The presence of Iran’s president at Qatar ruler’s private residence with a somewhat different hospitality were put to spotlight by the news media and it showed that just as the public diplomacy of Pezeshkian himself has managed to reduce and even solve out many of the tensions in Baghdad and Erbil it can also open a new way in the Tehran- Doha relations.
Considering all variants existing today in the region the goals achieved by the trip at the current situation were all backed up by the ‘Honest Promise 2’ operation that took place on the eve of Tuesday in the form of launching over 200 ballistic and non- ballistic missiles against the military bases of Israel so as to be a response to the crimes committed by the regime.
