Negaheno special
A Vague perspective on Syria’s Stability and Security

With armed rebels taking over Damascus and the fall of Assad government Syria’s future is facing a blurry outlook with regards to stability and security.
According to Negaheno report with armed rebels entering Damascus and the change of power in Syria the first question asked by people of the country and the global community is how will be the future of the region and how will it impact the complex situations in West Asia? Although the armed groups in the field that are against the Assad government have a shared view on this but they have separate views at the same time on how to shape the future of Syria’s governance.
Lack of a single leadership with political and religious differences with various foreign connections and considerable amount of weapons and equipment forces would turn each of the field players into an effective and demanding figure that would make it even more difficult to share in a tough and highly complex situation.
At present the main concerns facing the countries in the region is the increase in lack of security and instability in Syria and its repercussion which could impact the political, security and economy of other countries. It would be necessary for the main players in the region to meet the needs and demands of the people in Syria while maintaining the security and stability of Syria in forming the political system of Syria in the future.
