No War No Peace: Netanyahu’s dual strategy for survival

With the end of the first stage of the Gaza ceasefire Israel shut down all gateways of the region right away and stopped entering food and medicine. This action led to severe protests from Qatar and Egypt but Netanyahu presses on.
According to Negaheno report the aim of Netanyahu is freedom of the hostages without entering the second stage of ceasefire but Hamas has refused to accept this and calls for the implementation of the agreement. Netanyahu has threatened that in case Hamas refuses to extend the first stage it would resume the war. But the truth is he is encountered with heavy internal problems in particular, with regards to the budget and coalition disputes. The prime minister of the Zionist regime needs to bring the security atmosphere into chaos so to be able to control its own political crises.Under such conditions, the suitable scenario for him is to keep the situation in a no war no peace status. It is possible for Israel to conduct some limited attacks against Gaza, but not a full- fledged war. Nevertheless, Netanyahu will have to enter the second stage of negotiations sooner or later. The mains challenge for Hamas will begin after the war. Israel and some Arab countries are trying to weaken this group through economic siege. The fate of Gaza is still unknown and whether Hamas could resist against all these pressures will depend on the coming days.
