A look at the incidents in Syria and its obscure goals

– The role of Turkey and Israel in supporting the terrorist groupsThe recent speech delivered by Recep Tayeb Erdogan who stressed on taking hold of Aleppo shows that these attacks are part of Turkey’s expansionist policies in Syria. Turkish drones that have been used in these attacks are another proof over such claims. Moreover, Turkey’s logistical and military support of the terrorist groups is a blatant violence of the Astana treaty.
– Israel and its efforts to undermine the Resistance groups By using advanced drones and offering military training to the armed groups Israel is practically helping these attacks. The goal of Israel is to engage the Resistance group in the clashes and to reduce its focus on the expansionist policies of Israel in Palestine and the region.

– The nature of the terrorist groupsMost of the people involved in the clashes are non- Syrian and are mercenaries who have taken part for financial or ideological reasons. The multi-nationality of the terrorists shows how some countries are trying to penetrate foreign forces into Syria that is against the international law and the Syrian sovereignty. Recent Ukrainian training to these groups in using drones and their equipment with Turkish and Israeli drones has severely increased the level of threats against Syria.

– Defeat in Astana treaty and Russia’s weakness These attacks are not only a blatant violation of the Astana treaty and other negotiations between Turkey and Russia but also it shows that Turkey is not bound by its commitments and continues to support the terrorists.Russia’s functioning on the other hand is somehow weak and this has created a gap for the terrorists to benefit from.

– Silence of the Arab countriesUnder the current sensitive situation, the Arab countries have failed to condemn these terrorist attacks to Aleppo. This silence would mean failing to seriously support the government of Syria against foreign attacks and it also shows the weak standpoint of the Arab countries against policies of Turkey and Israel. In order to overcome these challenges, the Resistance should reenforce its political and military coordination and also to raise awareness among the public and global opinion on the nature of these attacks and those who support it.
