How Turkey is Seeking for its Share and the Fate of the Extremist Groups

Following the fall of the Bashar Assad government there are many questions including - why Iran did not involve in the changes in Syria – and many more will be responded in this and later articles.

According to Negaheno report last March a document was released from the study center of the Zionist regime general HQ that believed it was time to fight against the Islamic Republic of Iran and it would have been necessary to prepare the atmosphere one of which was to destroy Hizballah in Lebanon followed by Syria and to cut off ties in the resistance axis.

Reasons for the fall and defeat of Damascus

At first, it is necessary to remind that by analyzing the reasons behind the fall of Damascus from internal aspects that relate to political and military weaknesses of the military system of Syria it does not in any way reduce the weight of Israel, Turkey and the US intervention as the main factor in this equation. Corruption in Syria army

Syria senior commanders who are mostly from the Alevites and followers of Bashar Assad had no correct idea of the changes in the field. The Syria army was one of the most powerful among the Arab armies and played an important role in six wars within Syria and the region but it was exhausted during the past 10 years of crisis created by the terrorist groups within Syria.
Most of the middle range commanders and army soldiers were from the Sunni sect who had no motivation for continuing the conflicts.

The economic situation of the army officers was so acute that it was said the highest pay of an army officer was equivalent to 50 USD.

There were no reconstructions in the army equipment and structure and even in the mid-level commanders there were no upgrades. This is while the armed groups were trained and equipped in the last two years.

The role of the US, Turkey and Israel

Through repeated attacks the Zionist regime tried to provide the grounds for the fall of the Syrian army and to reduce its ability and since the internal situation was also very feeble it made any form of chaos possible.

As one of the main instigators of these changes Turkey is pursuing the illusion of an Ottoman Empire and the terrorist groups in Syria share in many ideologic beliefs with it. Ever since the crises in Syria and the Islamic awaking in the region Turkey has tried to resume its political and field influence and by changing the game rule to benefit from the changes in the region as a tool for gaining privilege from Europe and the US.

From the Israeli viewpoint Erdogan is a loyal friend who only plays the role of an enemy for Israel. Turkey now plays the first role and was the main player when it came to holding roles in the changes in Syria.
