The US and Turkey have Signed an Agreement Over Intervention in Iraq Affairs

Political analyst from Turkey Foras Rizvan Oghlu speaking with Negaheno said: “The Americans and Turkey have signed an agreement over intervention in Iraq affairs.”
According to Negaheno report political analyst from Turkey Foras Rizvan Oghlu reminded: “The aim of Turkey in supporting the Turkmens in Kirkuk and also in Erbil are defined in two different aims which are to maintain and protect the economic interests of Turkey.”
He added: “The issue of oil and Jeyhun port in Turkey is of significant importance for Ankara. The Americans and Turkey have thus signed an agreement over intervening in Iraq’s affairs.”
This political analyst further said: “The Adalat and Development Party led by Recep Tayeb Erdogan is after the return of the Ottoman empire. In order to settle down its internal affairs Ankara is trying to bolden its regional role and its surroundings in terms of political and economic affairs.”
Foras Rizvan said: “The Americans are trying to benefit from Turkey merely as a tool in order to advance their goals.”
