Speaking with Negaheno Barbara Slavin said:
Trump is Content with a Negotiation: For Him Speaking with Iran is an Achievement

Speaking with Negaheno and referring to the meeting between Iran and the US yesterday in Oman Barbara Slavin said that the US would regard this meeting as an achievement.
According to Negaheno report Barbara Slavin,a distinguished Fellow at The Stimson Center in Washington said: “Donald Trump is trying to prove to the public opinion around the world that he could persuade Iran to return to the negotiation table. Of course, this does not mean that Iran would submit to America’s conditions.”She further said: “At the beginning the US tried to put the policy of negotiations under pressure and to follow tough preconditions so that Iran would take part in the negotiations from a weak stance.
But since he would need this negotiation, he agreed to overlook its preconditions.”This American figure reminded: “In contrast with previous times I would not believe that Israel could have any particular impact on the talks even though Netanyahu is making every effort to bring a dead end to any peaceful political process.”
