Dispute over Mohammed Al-Jolani’s presence at Baghdad meeting

The issue of inviting Mohammad Al-Jolani or the so-called Ahmad Al-Shar, the interim president of Syrian government, the disputes over political streams and the MPs and also public anger for his possible participation at Baghdad meeting are all one of Iraq’s controversial issues in the last few weeks.
According to Negaheno report Iraqi cultural minister has already submitted Iraq’s prime minister Mohammad Al-Shiah Al-Sudani’s official invitation letter for taking part at Baghdad meeting.
Some of the Arab leaders have threatened the government of Iraq that if Jolani is to take part at the Arab summit meeting in Baghdad they will refuse to take part and the meeting will decline to ministerial level.
Within Iraq’s internal atmosphere however, some believe that Jolani had a direct role in killing and terrorist actions against the Iraqi citizens and he is already under prosecution by Iraq’s criminal court and in case of his arrival to the country he will be arrested and put to trial.
But the majority of the political streams affiliated to the Sunnis who are in the same line with Jolani and the changes in Syria believe he had no role in this matter.
