Muslim American scholar and head of Islamic teachings in Washington, Mohammad Al-Asi referring to the US double standards of suppressing the students’ protests and supporting riots in other countries said:
“When the US supports any form of uprising that contradicts its policies and interests in other countries, it also uses the worst methods of suppressions against the students and ignores their basic rights.”
According to Negaheno report former Friday prayer Imam of Washington DC Mohammad Al-Asi said: “The reality is that the US interests are arranged and organized based on the interests of Israel and naturally where ever the interests of the Zionists matter the Americans will do anything to protect it.”
He added: “The first sparks of support by the American students were initiated from the Columbia university in New York followed by the most reputable universities around country.”
The US scholar added that today everyone is united with the students, academics and the faculty members to support the students against the violent clubs of the police force in the US.
Mohammad Al-Asi continued: “The Americans are now concerned that what happened in the case of Vietnam would be repeated. In those days the students managed to change the political stance of the US against their politicians due to their partnership in the bloody war.
